When I first stepped into the wedding industry, it wasn’t about planning weddings. Not really.
Not in the way most people think—timelines, linens, florals, and floor plans. Yes, those things came later. But at the heart of it, my why was never rooted in logistics. It was rooted in people. In the experience. In the season of life.
I remember sitting across from a couple early on, watching the way they were slowly being pulled into the pressure of it all; expectations, performance, perfection. I saw the excitement in their eyes start to dim. It was subtle, but I felt it. And I knew right then I didn’t want to just “plan weddings.” I wanted to create space. I wanted to give people permission to do things differently.
Weddings are this deeply transitional moment; grief, joy, change, uncertainty, and hope all wrapped into one.
And I wanted to be the person who said, “Yes, it can feel like this. You’re not doing it wrong. Let’s make space for it.”
As I grew in this industry, gained experience, and met more and more couples, that core desire stayed the same.
But something else began to shift.
I started to see how many people were left out of the planning process entirely. People who couldn’t afford full planning support, those who didn’t know where to begin, and those didn’t feel seen by western traditional wedding culture. I didn’t want to be a planner only for the people who could afford a certain level of help. I wanted to be a planner for everyone.
That’s where the idea of ALTARE came from.
ALTARE is a platform built to make wedding planning more accessible, more honest, and more grounded in real human experience. A place for community, for guidance, and for clarity. It is an app + Event Management planning option that supports couples navigating one of the most meaningful and emotional seasons of their lives. This is true for couples with or without a big budget and with or without all the answers.
And with the way the world is moving (faster, more digital, more immediate) it only made sense that ALTARE would live as an app. Couples don’t want to wait for the answers. They want guidance in real time, support that meets them where they are, and tools that move as quickly as their lives do.

ALTARE is a reflection of that shift.
A wedding planning experience for this generation.
Because this was never just about weddings.
It was always about people
